Terminology
In the general terms, Baredine d.o.o. is referred to as "Baredine d.o.o." and this term includes all the areas managed by Baredine d.o.o., whether they are chargeable areas or areas freely accessible to visitors, including: Baredine Cave, Traktor Story exhibition space, Konobon gallery, Buffet Jama, Speleogallery and Speleolit exhibition space, children's playground, domestic animals area, and the corresponding parking and access road, as well as other spaces available to visitors.
General Provisions
- By using and/or reserving and/or ordering a service and/or purchasing or otherwise obtaining a ticket for a visit (including all available sales channels) and/or entering the premises of Baredine d.o.o., you accept these General Terms and Conditions, as well as all other rules and conditions for using the services of Baredine Cave that apply at the time of use. If you do not agree with these, please do not use, reserve, order services, or purchase or otherwise obtain tickets for the services, and do not enter the premises offered by Baredine d.o.o. for visits.
- All other issues related to services, payments, and the general use of Baredine d.o.o. services are governed by the applicable rules at the time of their use.
- In the event of transferring the ticket from the buyer to a third party, these General Terms and Conditions transfer and apply to the holder of the ticket, as well as to the person who uses, reserves, orders, purchases, or acquires the service, or is present in the Cave. The buyer is obliged to inform the person to whom they transfer the ticket about the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions.
- Baredine d.o.o. reserves the right to amend and/or supplement these General Terms and Conditions at any time, and such changes take effect on the day of publication. Continuing to use the service after changing the General Terms and Conditions will be deemed acceptance of the amended or supplemented General Terms and Conditions. Baredine d.o.o. advises you to check these General Terms and Conditions before using, reserving, ordering, purchasing, or otherwise acquiring tickets for the services or entering the premises of Baredine d.o.o. to be aware of any changes.
Ticket Purchase
- Tickets can be purchased at Baredine d.o.o. ticket offices and through the online sales space on the website www.baredine.com.
- The ticket purchase prices are listed in the ticket price list available on the website and at the entrance to the Baredine d.o.o. premises. The ticket price includes VAT. Product prices are subject to change until the purchase begins, which change Baredine d.o.o. will notify the buyer in a clear and understandable way.
- All ticket purchases through the website are binding and final, and the same can only be canceled or the date changed by contacting Baredine d.o.o. at tickets@baredine.com.
- All inquiries, complaints, and grievances regarding the operation of the website for ticket purchase and payment can be sent in writing by mail to the address: Gedići 55, 52446 Nova Vas, Croatia, reported by phone at: +385 95 421 4210 or by email to tickets@baredine.com.
- When purchasing tickets with cash, the buyer must count the returned money on the spot as subsequent complaints will not be considered. Baredine d.o.o. reserves the right to change the price list.
- The buyer is not entitled to compensation for unused or lost tickets.

Entry into Baredine d.o.o. Premises
- Visiting tourist caves and caverns in Croatia is legally allowed only with a guide, so it is not possible to visit Baredine Cave independently.
- The right to enter the Baredine Cave and Traktor Story exhibition spaces is acquired by purchasing a ticket.
- Entry to these spaces is prohibited without a valid ticket. Baredine d.o.o. reserves the right to check the right of entry and the basis for obtaining a discount, and in case of lack of such proof, to deny entry or remove the visitor from the premises. For this reason, visitors must carry their tickets and proof of eligibility for discounts (e.g., student ID) until the end of their visit.
- Visiting Baredine Cave is not allowed for pets.
- Visiting the Traktor Story exhibition space and other outdoor areas by Baredine Cave is allowed for pets provided they are under the control of their owner (e.g., on a leash).
- Visiting Baredine Cave is not recommended for people with heart and respiratory problems and is not possible for people with severe disabilities or those in wheelchairs. Visitors with health issues interested in visiting the cave usually descend accompanied by a guide. On return (climbing stairs), they return slowly and can take breaks every few minutes. Also, it should be noted that the stairs in the cave are irregular in shape and height.
Behavior in Baredine d.o.o. Premises
- Baredine Cave is a geomorphological natural monument under special protection and management of the Public Institution Natura Histrica, a public institution for managing protected natural parts in the Istrian County.
- Visitors must treat the property and premises of Baredine d.o.o. carefully and responsibly.
- It is not allowed to disturb other visitors during their visit.
- Baredine d.o.o. staff, after warning, may remove visitors from the premises without the right to a ticket refund if:
- they disturb other visitors with their behavior
- they are, in the opinion of Baredine d.o.o. staff, under the influence of alcohol or other substances;
- they smoke inside Baredine d.o.o. premises where it is strictly prohibited.
- they bring weapons or other prohibited items (e.g., drugs) into Baredine d.o.o. premises;
- At the end of working hours, visitors must leave Baredine d.o.o. through marked exits.
Responsibility for Personal Belongings
- Visitors are required to take care of their personal belongings and keep them under their supervision during the entire visit. Baredine d.o.o. is not responsible if items are lost, destroyed, or damaged by circumstances that could not be avoided or removed, due to the nature of the items, or due to the actions or omissions of the visitor themselves.
- We recommend not bringing valuable items into Baredine d.o.o. premises and arranging their safekeeping outside Baredine d.o.o. premises. Baredine d.o.o. does not assume responsibility for the loss or damage of such items.
- Baredine d.o.o., exceptionally, upon the visitor's request, will accept for safekeeping money, valuables, securities, and other valuable items brought by the visitor and handed over for safekeeping, except if it is determined that in the specific case there are no suitable premises for their storage, if they are of excessive value relative to the type and category of the facility, if they are dangerous, bulky, or if their safekeeping exceeds Baredine d.o.o.'s capabilities for some other justified reason. For all such items, the visitor is obliged to contact Baredine d.o.o. staff.
- Baredine d.o.o. does not assume responsibility for lost or missing items that were not previously handed over for safekeeping according to the previous point.
Parking
- Visitors have access to free parking for approximately 250 cars and free parking for buses and larger vehicles with a capacity of approximately 20 buses.
Prohibition of Audio and Video Recording
- Audiovisual works and other works presented and used as part of educational exhibitions are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, storage, or other actions for distribution, public display, or making such works available to the public constitutes a criminal offense.
Data Protection
- If certain personal data and bank card information are required for service use, the collection and processing of such personal data are subject to the Company's Privacy Statement, which details how we use your data, the rights guaranteed by the Data Protection Regulation, and how to exercise them.
- Baredine d.o.o. uses video surveillance in accordance with the Occupational Safety Act, the General Data Protection Regulation, and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation to protect people and property, based on the legitimate interest under Article 6, paragraph 1.(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
